Formed in 1931, the Iron Front was a German an underground organization in the Weimar Republic which consisted of social democrats, trade unionists, and democratic socialists. Its main goal was to defend liberal democracy against totalitarian ideologies. The emblem of the Iron Front depicted three down-leaning arrows representing these ideologies. In 1932, a poster depicted anti-fascism, communism and monarchism.

In 2020, the emblem returned – initially in soccer stadiums – as a symbol of the Antifa movement in the US and elsewhere. When Donald Trump returned to power in 2025, we made a current-state version of the original 1932 3- totalitarian poster, this time depicting the US, Russia and China.

We encourage Mail Artists to use the Iron Front emblem along with the Antifa title in their work, clothing and on the street. Below you can download black and ivory images for printing or clothing using customized clothing platforms like CafePress.
